Altair begins management of 2775 Broadway - Jan 11, 2012

Altair Property Management has been selected to manage the 250,000 sq. foot "2775 Broadway" building in Buffalo NY.  The property is home to Airgas, Trans America, Environmental Products of Vermont and others.  Altair was selected for its extensive knowledge of turn around management of distressed real estate assets.  The project is being led by court appointed receiver Vincent Sorrentino.  For more information please call Altair at 814-622-1121.

Meals on Wheels selects Citizen Bank Building - Oct 29, 2011

Altair Realty's Dave Haller worked closely with Realtor Joe Herbert to secure a lease with
Metro-Erie Meals on Wheels.  The organization joins several other not-for-profits on the third floor of the Citizen Bank building located at 12th and State Streets in the heart of downtown Erie.

Erie Book Store reopening in Palace Building - Sep 20, 2011

The historic Erie Book Store will be relocating is now open in the Altair Managed Palace Building at 915 State Street.  The store opened on October 1st 2011. 

USPS Chooses Mercantile Building - Sep 16, 2011

The United States Postal Service has selected the Altair Managed "Mercantile Building" in downtown Erie for its newest location.  Altair was instrumental in the restructuring of the Mercantile Project for the Erie Redevelopment Authority and has been working with Fourth River Development, the properties new developer, to complete the 5 story 50,000 sq. foot project.  The newest location will consolidate the Griswold Plaza and State St. locations into a single, user friendly location.

Pay Lease Coming Soon - Aug 20, 2011

Altair Property Management has entered into an agreement with Pay Lease an Inc. Magazine fastest growing company.  Paylease allows residents and commercial tenants the ability to pay rent via ACH and/or by major credit cards.  Altair controller Brenda Ball said "giving our customers the ability to choose their method of payment is just another example of how Altair is a leader in the use of technology in the property management industry."  Ball indicated that the program will roll out in stages with Carriage Hill Townhomes being the first to adopt the service.

Perseus House Expanding at Lovell Place - Jun 21, 2011

Perseus House Charter School of Excellence has entered into an agreement to expand at Lovell Place in downtown Erie.  The expansion will provide additional classroom space for the rapidly growing charter school program.

Lovell Place Sale - Feb 09, 2011

On Tuesday February 8th 2010 Rick Griffith Properties was the higher bidder in an auction in the US Bankruptcy Court to acquire Lovell Place in downtown Erie.  Altair Property Management wants to assure all commercial and residential tenants that terms of the sale require all leases to be assumed by and honored by the buyer.  All rent should continue to be paid to Lovell Place L.P.  at the Altair Office.  The closing will occur in the next few weeks and any changes in where rent should be paid will be announced.  Until closing please continue to call 814.622.1121 for any questions, concerns and/or maintenance requests.

BBVS Construction Kick-Off - Oct 28, 2010

The Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Labor & Industry has kicked off construction of just over 7000 sq. ft. of office space at Erie's historic Lovell Place.  The expansion will house the Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services.  The Bureau will take occupancy of the new space in early 2011.
