Charles J. Peters – Managing Partner

After selling his technology firm in 1999 Peters stayed with the acquiring company until they filed Bankruptcy in 2003. Peters was subsequently hired by the bankruptcy estate to assist with the preservation of the value of the asset. In late 2005 Peters acquired many of the assets of Signature Management – a property management firm in Erie, PA and was awarded contracts to manage Lovell Place in Erie, PA and Century Centre in Buffalo NY. Peters earned his BA from Gannon University.

D. Thomas Smith - Broker - PA

Tom Received his Real Estate Broker License in 1995, has been a Licensed Appraisersince 1993 and a Licensed Real Estate Sales agent since 1990.   Tom is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute, Member of the National Association of REALTORS, Member of the  Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS and a Member of the Greater Erie Board of REALTORS

William F. Schober – Broker - NY

Schober is a private practice Attorney in  Dunkirk NY where he has specialized in real estate law.  Schober joined Signature Management an Erie, PA based Real Estate management firm. Schober was responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization including asset management. Schober serves on the Dunkirk NY Industrial Development Authority. Schober earned his BA from Canisius College in Buffalo NY and his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA.

Brenda Ball - Controller.

Ball has 15 years accounting experience, including 6 years in the property management field. Ball has worked in all aspects of accounting including, but not limited to, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statement preparation, general ledger analysis, bank reconciliations, collections, management reporting, personnel and payroll. Brenda has significant bankruptcy reporting experience. Ball is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Deanna Farabaugh – Property / Leasing Manager.

Farabaugh has worked in property management and leasing for over four years. She has been responsible for several different properties including Lovell Place, Century Centre, Modern Tool Square and Landmark Square. Farabaugh has been with Altair since its inception November 2005. Her duties include residential leasing, tenant relations and property management. Farabaugh attended Erie Business Center and holds a PA Real Estate Sales License.
